Chino Valley Historical Society members co-host September Mixer at Granite Creek Vineyards.

Chino Valley, AZ – The third week of September was a great one for the Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley.

On Wednesday, September 16, 2009, the Vineyards co-hosted the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce monthly Mixer. Around 70 members were on hand for a beautiful evening event. Co-host of the Mixer was the Chino Valley Historical Society.

On Thursday the 17th, the Vineyards, which are located on 2515 Road 1 East (between Road 3 and Road 4 North), were the meeting venue for the Chino Valley Chamber Tourism Committee. Focus of the Tourism Committee was on the upcoming Pumpkin Festivals at The Windmill House and Freeman Farms every weekend during October and Hometown Chino Christmas right around the corner on December 4 and 5.

In the Saturday, September 19 Arizona Living section of the Arizona Republic, Granite Creek Vineyards were featured in Robin Sewell’s “Robin Recommends” destination column! Ms. Sewell called the Vineyards, “A slice of Napa Valley,” and mentioned that Sunset Magazine recommends the Vineyards as a great place to picnic.

Saturday’s write-up wasn’t the first time the Vineyards have been in the Arizona Republic. In 2007 Granite Creek Vineyards, owned by Robin and Kit Hoult, was chosen as one of the Republic’s top fifty destinations in Arizona.
