The weather was perfect, and the participants enthusiastic at yesterday's Cops 'n' Bobbers event, held at Fain Park in Prescott Valley. Sponsored by the Prescott Valley Police Department and the Chino Valley Police Department, this day of fishing with the local law enforcement agency included hot dogs and refreshments, prizes and raffles, and of course, an opportunity to meet McGruff! For those who didn't have a fishing pole, the necessary equipment was provided.

Also participating were the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Native Air Helicopters and the Arizona Fish and Game, who helped make the day a little more exciting by stocking the Fain Park Lake with rainbow trout.

It was a great turnout, and photographer Stew Schrauger, was on hand to record the events.

Enjoy!
