Looking for an opportunity to honor our Veterans this Armistice Day? Join the Heritage Memorial Park and Mortuary staff in Dewey-Humboldt at 2 pm this afternoon as they pay tribute to all veterans both living and dead.

This Veteran's Day Memorial Celebration will feature:

• Kipp Perry, Manager of Heritage Memorial Park
• Dr. Robert Ossler, officiating
• The American Legion Post #6 Honor Guard of Prescott will pay tribute with a flag-folding ceremony
• Hannah Hardell will sing patriotic songs
• The Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW) will join the Boy Scouts in placing flags
• A balloon release
• Black ribbons will be given in remembrance of fallen comrades

Afterwards, refreshments will follow.

Additionally, old cell phones will be collected to donate to Cell Phones for Soldiers. This program is designed to help our military call home to their families. The phones can also be brought to Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Avenue, Prescott.
