KQNA News Week in Review (week of 2/1/10)

  • I'm Bill Monroe. During a hearing Monday morning, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Robert Oberbillig upheld a statute that grants Prescott the right to import Big Chino groundwater into the Prescott Active Management area.
  • It was announced Yavapai College's Assistant Coach of Men's Basketball would be assuming the position of Interim Head Coach until a new Head Coach is hired.
  • The Arizona Department of Transportation held a meeting on the White Spar Road improvements project Wednesday night.
  • Sedona sweat lodge organizer James Ray was arrested on manslaughter charges Wednesday afternoon.
  • On Tuesday, the Prescott City Council toured the Elks Opera House.
  • Following the tour, Council discussed street projects.
  • The Arizona Department of Education informed Prescott Unified School District officials that 2 snow days on January 21st and 22nd will not have to be made up.
  • And District One Representative Ann Kirkpatrick toured Black Canyon City on Friday.
