- On Tuesday night, the Prescott Unified School District Board postponed a decision on the mandatory Prime Choice Plan.
- The Dewey-Humboldt Town Council reviewed its 2011 budget Tuesday night.
- The Prescott Valley Town Council approved a 2 thousand dollar transfer of funds from the General Fund for a community garden project.
- On Thursday night, the Dewey-Humboldt Planning and Zoning Commission selected 3 members to the new Board of Adjustment.
- On Monday, the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approved a more than 933 thousand dollar contract to Sunland Incorporated Asphalt and Sealcoating for the County’s annual chip seal project and an over 815 thousand dollar contract to Asphalt Paving and Supply for an annual overlay project.
- More than 5500 District 1 residents joined Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick for a telephone town hall on Tuesday afternoon.
- On Cinco de Mayo, more than 200 people participated in a protest march against Senate Bill 1070 in Cottonwood.
- And a celebration of life was held Friday afternoon for 16-year Prescott Valley Police Chief Ed Seder.
