According to Steve Skurja, the Yavapai Silent Witness (YSW) Program Coordinator, the YSW Board was presented with 11 new cases during their September 18 meeting.
In the cases reviewed, a total of 18 people from various communities in Yavapai County were arrested on 116 felony charges. Arrests took place in Prescott, Cornville, McGuireville, Cottonwood, Chino Valley, Rim Rock, Prescott Valley, Phoenix, Camp Verde, Cordes Lakes, Wickenburg and Mayer.
Charges included forgery, homicide, drugs, racketeering, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, auto theft and burglary.
As a result of these arrests, law enforcement officials seized 7 automobiles, 2 Harley Davidson M/C, 7 guns, $75,000.00 in cash and $80,000.00 worth of illegal drugs.
The 11 successful callers shared $3,000.00 in cash rewards.
