The World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre is coming to Prescott for a one-night only appearence at Yavapai College Performing Arts Center, Friday night, September 28, at 7 p.m.
Featuring “more than 30 furry performers, and also a few humans,” Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre combines rescue animals, incredible physical agility, and a hysterical combination of sketch and set pieces designed to tell stories, tug the heart, and make its viewers laugh out loud.
Voted “Best Family Attraction” in Las Vegas, Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre harnesses the talents of Gregory Popovich, an award-winning physical comedian and fourth-generation animal trainer. His supporting cast includes dozens of dogs, housecats and birds – trained by Popovich’s positive-reinforcement method into savvy stage performers.
Veterans of The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman and finalists on America’s Got Talent, The Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre has delighted audiences in more than 30 countries. They are the artists-in-residence at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, where their show was hailed as “Genius” by People magazine. Ringmaster Gregory Popovich has written two books on animal training, You CAN Train Your Cat, and Doggy Gone Good.
