Frost Alert for Friday Night

Frost Alert down to 5000 feet!!

Frost Alert down to 5000 foot elevation with snow possible above 5800 feet.  If this storm clears out in the middle of the night the frost damage could be severe throughout Yavapai County.  Looks like the only danger is tonight and then the weather turns to spring again.  

Make sure to hydrate plants tonight ASAP and cover with a breathable material.  If possible, bring new plants next to the house or under cover.  Protect tomatoes, squash, basil, zinnia and other tender plants. 

Warning is for Prescott, Chino Valley and Prescott Valley
