Congressman Biggs’ Statement on the Mueller Report Release

19 April 2019   Daniel Stefanski
“...they cannot overcome this simple truth: Special Counsel Mueller found no collusion and no obstruction.”

GILBERT, ARIZONA – After Attorney General William Barr released the final report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

“The full report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller confirms what we already knew: there is no evidence of conspiracy between candidate Donald Trump or his campaign and Russia. The narrative spun by Democrats and the media for nearly two years could not even be substantiated by a politicized investigation and biased investigators.

“The level of transparency from the White House and the Department of Justice in this process is unprecedented. The full report contains minimal and clearly identified redactions that are in most cases required by law. Though the report contains information that is subject to executive privilege, the President waived privilege in every single instance. Attorney General Barr confirmed this morning that the White House provided the Special Counsel unfettered access to records and directed senior aides to testify freely.

“After a 22-month investigation by 19 partisan lawyers and 40 FBI agents, 2,800 subpoenas, nearly 500 search warrants, and 500 witness interviews, not a single American was charged with conspiring with the Russians to influence the 2016 election. Democrats and the media will do their best to parse every word and take fragments of Mr. Mueller’s report out of context to continue to mislead the American people, but they cannot overcome this simple truth: Special Counsel Mueller found no collusion and no obstruction.”
