Prescott, AZ August 12, 2019- Over the weekend firefighters began conducting firing operations along Fair Oaks Road (County Road 124) and Forest Service Road 9823C. Today firefighters will be patrolling and monitoring control lines. If weather conditions remain favorable firefighters will continue with firing operations along Fair Oaks Road throughout the next several days.

A Pemberton Fire Community Meeting will be held tomorrow night, August 13, at 5:30 pm at the Williamson Valley Fire Department, 15450 N. Williamson Valley Road, Prescott, AZ.

Due to smoke impacts, we ask that while traveling on the roads around and near the fire area to use caution for public and firefighter safety. Drivers may experience delays on Fair Oaks Road due to fire traffic, and firefighters working along the roadway.

Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) have been placed over the Pemberton and Sheridan fires to provide a safe environment for firefighting aircraft being used for aerial operations.

Weather over the fire area will be mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures ranging from 85-92 degrees, minimum humidity 14 to 17 percent with light winds becoming southwest around 10 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 20 mph in the late morning and afternoon.
