A Full Closure Planned for Southbound I-17 Tuesday Morning

Travel Alert: Plan for southbound Interstate 17 closure near Rock Springs Road early Tuesday, Nov. 5

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the full closure of southbound Interstate 17 at Rock Springs Road (exit 242) in Yavapai County the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 5, for the continuation of a police investigation. The closure is scheduled to be in place from 7 to 7:30 a.m.

Rock Springs Road is located about 50 miles north of downtown Phoenix.

ADOT advises drives to consider traveling through the area before or after the closure, or use an alternate route.
