Tuesday, JULY 22, 2014, 2PM – Watson Lake Park, parking area of off Hillsdale Road, Prescott.
Sheriff Mascher and Alberto Gutier, Director of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), will join to announce a new addition to the Sheriff’s fleet for use as part of ongoing DUI enforcement efforts throughout Yavapai County. This Ford truck (pictured) was graciously provided to YCSO by a grant from GOHS. Essentially a mobile command post for DUI enforcement teams, it will provide space for processing arrestee’s on site with access to computers, remote booking capability, and intoxilyzer testing.
Sheriff Mascher greatly appreciates the opportunity to obtain this state-of-the-art vehicle as part of YCSO’s mission to keep impaired drivers off the road. The vehicle will also be shared with our partner agencies while DUI task forces are activated. The vehicle will be open for inspection.
