Prescott, Arizona-October 27, 2016 - In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Barrett Propane recently presented a check for $3,966.45 to the BreastCare Center at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. The Pink Truck is a 3,000 gallon propane truck that accrues funds for the BreastCare Center at the rate of a penny per gallon pumped through the truck annually.
“Funds donated to the BreastCare Center at YRMC help underwrite the cost of screening and diagnostic imaging, support community-wide breast health education, professional staff development, and the purchase of equipment and state-of-the-art technology,” stated Nancy Ledoyen, Director of the YRMC BreastCare Center.
This is the fifth year that Barrett Propane has donated through the Pink Truck Program. “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to donate a five year total of $17,957.35 to the BreastCare Center. They truly help so many in our community and if we can help even just on person with early detection, our program is doing its job,” stated Dave Barrett of Barrett Propane.
